Over the summer I had been using a belt bag rather than handbag, but now with cooler weather and coats and jackets - belt bag is too lumpy to wear.

I ordered some wallet sleeves (package of 3 for $15) and they'll be here tomorrow. I give them a trial run over the weekend.

Reviews were generally good and the few that weren't didn't apply to my situation.

Re: Belt bag vs. wallet sleeve

Had to google what a wallet sleeve is. Prefer pockets which are a must for me in just about every article of clothing. But @ALRATIBA I think from previous posts, you don't like pockets???

@ALRATIBAI have no idea what a wallet sleeve is.

.

Did you see the new magnetic waist wallet they had last week? Its similar but slightly larger than the one Lori Grenier used to sell. I have one and use it exclusively for shopping. Absolutely love it. No bulk, I forget I have it on. This one, E242027, has room for a cell, which Lori's didnt.

@kaydee50

You're right re pants.

Small stuff wiggles its way out when I walk, and for anything heavier I don't have enough hips and if I put anything in my pockets, my pants slide down ... and that can be a bit embarrasing!

In coats/jackets ... pockets are okay but unless they have snaps or zips, I'm leary about putting anything in them. Too easy to fall out.

I wear fingerless mittens in the winter - and they are long enough to cover the wallet sleeves ... extra safe.

@Kachina624

I can't use anything that hangs on my pants .... as I said in another reply - no hips and my pants would fall down.

And - I don't take my phone unless I'm going to a meeting, and then I have a handbag and tote or briefcase.

PLUS - I paid $15 for 3 wallet sleeves vs. $35 for one pouch.

@Kachina624glad to hear this item is working for you! I ordered a set of two (two separate gifts) this past free shipping weekend. I had showed the video to my son and he seemed to think it would work well for him, so one is for him.

There's no reason a man couldn't use it too. I can see it being very handy for them except maybe not the hot pink.
