Were I to spring for a LV, which I'm not planning, I'd be torn between the Speedy 35 in azur or the Artsy in azur or in black...
@stevieb Always loved the Artsy and ALMOST bought one 3 years ago . . .

@1Professor I love the look but unsure how well it would carry. Other bags I have with that one thick handle seem to get minimal use. Gorgeous silhouette, though. The leather versions in various colors is to covet.

@EdithEllenLily I was posting on another thread the other day and it brought to mind some more potential reading for your mom... Older books but generally available... Patricia Sprinkle is the writer... She has three mystery series, all of which are highly entertaining... The Thoroughly Southern Mysteries, The Family Tree Mysteries and The Sheila Travis Mysteries... I think your mom might really enjoy them all... There are more installments of the Thoroughly Southern series than the other two and it's focused on Georgia magistrate MacLaren Yarbrough, a mother and grandmother who solves mysteries... I might start here, move to the Family Tree series, which is only three books, and wrap it up with Sheila Travis, some of which are harder to find... I've read all three and recommend them highly... Good fun... This author also has some stand alone novels I've not read...

How to totally screw up a pricey and otherwise attractive designer bag...
I mean reallly, why...

@stevieb wrote:@EdithEllenLily This is beautiful. I always liked the croco fino and lizard designs... Like you, I won't be buying but it is a lovely bag... They're really milked that fold over entry design for all it was worth... I only wish it were more functional...
@stevieb Remember I have the two white beauties for you...one croco and one ostrich...I never carry them and am keeping them safely tucked away...someday!

@stevieb There is an Artsy Azur MM from 2011 at the upsale resale with several photos so you can see how it ages. Still pricey...

@stevieb Oh good! Thank you so much for the book ideas for my Mom! I will research these for sure. I really appreciate your recommendations!

GRRRR: I am currently not happy with the Coach Outlet. They slapped that "pancake" on the Dempsey tote series AND raised the price for 2021.
Regular Coach is plastering their name on the front like it was an eye exam too. How far away are you to spot this ??
10 feet ?? Good job.
Even though it was pricey, I got the Kindle version of the latest Vera Stanhope mystery. I just love her...

Now, now @hicindy2 there should be no worries about what Coach does (though I agree, these are yuk...) since you're good 'till 2024 anyway... Heehee...

@hicindy2 Billboard sized logos must be the next big thing. I'm assuming you saw the Balenciaga I posted... Good... Saves me having to even look... Not interested in providing free advertising for the jerks who design and profit from these bags...
