So for you regulars... the time has come to decide whether or not to start a new thread... This one's gotten kind of long, but has also been sort of flat lately... Hey, all threads go flat from time to time, but I also know most of us post elsewhere, both in handbags and many other areas, so I guess the question is whether or not to start a new thread, maybe in early April... What's your pleasure Ho's...?

I just have a lot going on right now, so I've been hit and miss with posting. But I think a new thread would be nice.

I haven't been here much lately. But @stevieb and @stevieb ... I also think a new thread would be nice.

@Boehm Collector I think you are right that @stevieb does have alter egos ... and perhaps several of them ... Woman LOL Woman Wink

@jaxs mom How did the sleep doctor appointment go if I'm not being too nosy? Also, did you have bad storms in your part of Texas today? The weather looked terrible! Woman Surprised

Re: Bad Girls... Talkin' 'bout the Bag Girls...

I went to the Container Store today and found some nice, large gift bags and also bought teal and leopard tissue paper for our hair salon ladies' Dooneys. I'm hoping to deliver them tomorrow if I can find out when the one girl is working.

I also bought a nice large laminated white box with a magnetic closure for my aunt's Cole Haan Large Benson Tote in Peony that I'm giving her for her birthday in a couple of weeks. I'll wrap it and send it off next week for her very big birthday.

In the next few days I'm going to be a handbag elf putting things together...which I love to do. Woman Happy

Re: Bad Girls... Talkin' 'bout the Bag Girls...

[ Edited ]

I'm sitting here having a sobering realization, lol.

I don't feel old and I'm not sure that I should feel old for my age.  I've always been shy around groups of people I don't know and I've never been what I call a joiner.  Hang with me, it's going somewhere, he he he.

I don't know people who were a life long time Prince fan like me (most folks forgot about Prince after Purple Rain).  I never felt the need to join any online fan sites while he was living (didn't see the point).

I learned about some upcoming events being organized by Detroit Crawl orgers (I guess you could call it a local chapter of of Prince.Org members).

I thought to myself, Bernie, maybe you should go to the gathering at the Majestic this Saturday - be around people who understand it, as we approach the 1 year anniversary of his passing.  There won't be a band or particular DJ, but we'll be listening and dancing to his music and it might be nice.

I checked the facebook page - it starts at 10pm and goes to 2 am.  By this point you can tell I am not well versed in 'clubbing'.  I don't know if I want to go through all that (dress up a little, do the hair and makeup thing) to drive to Detroit to be with people I don't know from Adam, rofl.

I can't tell if it's the shyness or I'm old.

But none quite like the element of surprise

Re: Bad Girls... Talkin' 'bout the Bag Girls...

Hello SistersHeart I took my DH on a road trip. He just needs to get out of the house and he did pretty good though we have to stop once in a bit to let him walk.

I went to Sephora to get my free birthday gift and bought a new lip balm from a company called Farmacy. Vanilla mint with echinacca. Then a couple more samples. I do love to beg for samplesWoman LOL

I went to Bath and Body Works to get my free gift there tooWoman Very Happy Bought some more the the "Vanilla Flower and Spring Garden" lotion with olive oil. Bought some last time and I really like it. It was on sale and 20% off. It is not in their regular line.

Stayed at the casino and went to another one 5 miles from there. I won $100.00 on the "Hot Seats". They call players a couple times an hour and I won. First time for me. I had a lot of luck and came home with money.

Went to Cracker Barrel on the way home to eat. I know most people don't like liver but they have the best. Bought some more goat milk soap and it was on sale tooWoman Very Happy I'm an addict when it comes to bar soap. I prefer it over shower gel.

That is gorgeous, and I'm not really a watch person. I like them, but I never want to wear them.

Interesting how we all are different in some ways because I almost never will leave the house without a watch...

Me too, besides which, my phone stays in my bag unless I'm using it. I'm not one to carry my phone in my hand at all times... Not only that, but I just love watches. They're just another form of jewelry to me, only functional... The only down side is replacing those darned batteries.

@steviebI too, love a watch. Not so much for the time but for the lookWoman Wink
