I like them for sight seeing and getting in and out of airports.

But I don't like to dig to the bottom of a bag.

I'm just used to a smaller crossbody that hold essentials and not a mcGiver inventory of items.

I never owned a backpack. I never liked the concept & like it even less now. To carry your handbag on your back IMO, is an invitation to thieves to help themselves.

Re: BACKPACK TSV

[ Edited ]

Backpaks are favorites among the young right now.

They were never my style during my youth or now.

I have a small backpack from MZ Wallace and another from Lug.  I used them almost exclusively for several years when I had my hip problems and was on a cane.  I mostly carried it over one shoulder but liked having the option to carry it backpack style if needed.  I did order one of the TSV's.  I think I will use it for work.

I would NEVER carrry a backpack style as a handbag.  Too risky.  Especailly if you are traveling or are in a very busy area.  I only use a very small crossbody these days.  Only need essentials and needs to be lightweight.

When I'm in foreign countries, I often see people wearing the backpack in front when on a crowded bus or train.

@SilleeMee  Very pretty and I like that brown color a lot!!! I love Coach purses- I used to work at Coach a few years ago as a sales associate and I have a treasured collection of Coach purses that I bought while I was working at Coach.  I have a Coach backpack very similar to that one in black and I like to wear it to the gym and during hikes for a stylish and cute look while I'm getting some sun and exercising.  Smiley Happy

I use one when I have to  travel with my computer and other electronics.  It's easier for me than a tote.  I also do some baby sitting and I keep the childrens stuff in one.we all it our activity bag!  They love it!

I only take a backpack as one of my carry ons if I'm flying and I put my purse in it. I only carry a small crossbody for everyday. I just need a credit card wallet, keys, phone and sunglasses. I don't need a bunch of unnecessary items to lug around.
