Anyone ever drink beet juice? It's supposed to be healthy and help me get better. Even with lemon, apples and ginger, I feel like I'm drinking dirt. Yum-mm-my,

@NycVixen I hope you stay well and don't let the bug catch you. I also hope you're having some caribbean cocktails or somesuch. Cheers!

Nope, never tried beet juice, nor, I hope, will I... I don't mind beets, particularly of the 'harvard' variety, and maybe the juice isn't so bad, but it just doesn't sound very appealing.

@stevieb It was interesting. But made me feel a little better. I might try it again today. When I'm back up and running, I think I'm going to try out new veggies that I've ignored. Smiley Surprised

@Serendipity About the 'leaf' ring. For many years it was called the 'vine' ring and had essentially a cult following. It was wildly popular and so I encourage you to check it out. I don't wear mine a lot because I have so many rings, but do love it.

As for the garnet, I don't know why I didn't keep it, believe at the time perhaps her little trademark flower on every piece just sort of rankled me so I opted not to keep it. I still wish she didn't put one on every blessed thing, but it's not such an issue. I think the other factor was I ultimately found a very similar garnet in a 'cigar band' style that I preferred. I'd completely forgotton I had it, but rediscovered it several months ago and have been wearing it a lot, so no, I won't be ordering the BB ring.

@stevieb Well, thanks for the info. I think the peridot looks the best too. Maybe one day it will ship. Right now, I'm thinking it's a ghost ring. I like the garnet one too. The stone is a deep dark red, and looks almost black when not in light. Did yours look like that too? The metal work is fantastic though. I'm debating only because of the stone color. I'm not sure what a deep, dark red/black garnet is supposed to look like. I could do without that flower on each ring too. But it doesn't bother me too much.

Nope @Serendipity, it's not that I think the perodot looks best. They're two completely different rings. I like the vine ring in peridot but the garnet is a very pretty ring. Typically, other than the more pink garnets, which aren't for me, I prefer garnet to peridot, I don't recall the shade of the garnet used in the larger ring. I only had it for a few days and it was a few years ago. I do seem to think it was a darker more saturated stone, but not a black red, and not of the pink variety either.

@stevieb Sorry, I meant that in the vine ring the peridot looks best. (They have a photo of blue topaz I think. Not a fan of blue topaz in general.) I spoke too quick about the garnet. I put it in the sunlight today and the faceting shows a deep blood red. It's the center that is more opaque and dark. But it's a pretty ring. I may keep it. As for the vine ring, it went back on backorder today for the third time since Christmas: in process, backorder; in process, backorder; in process, backorder. Lovely. But here's what peeves me. It was showing for sale -- my size -- again. For a second time! So I ordered another today. I have one on backorder and the new one in process. Let's see what happens. I wonder if they sold my "backorder" ring before to someone else or if it came in damaged or something. But why would it show for sale two times when mine was on backorder? Ugh.

More catching up. @gramygram Which DB satchel did you send back? Was wondering if you liked the oyster domed and the Brenna. I saw the oyster popped up today, but I was good. No handbag for me yet this year. Smiley Happy

@Serendipity I actually returned the domed satchel Smiley Sad it was pretty but after I "opened" it on christmas I decided it was not for me. The straps seemed to short and I felt the bottom was too "squared" (big)  brenna I kept though and love that one especially the outer pockets. The shoulder strap works well for me. My daughter picked a MK bag for me but also returned that one. I do love the black D&B sophie and plan to keep that one. Ibknow the stiching bothers some people bc its not black but I actually like the contrast. And the wallet actually looks very nice almost like florentine. Oh and I did keep the MK wristlet my daughter picked for me. The bag was a tote style and even tho it was pretty just did not like the bottom(it was oval -dont like oval). Yes I know im picky lol Smiley Happy

@gramygram Woo-hoo! You finally have your black bag. I know what you mean about the stitching. Maybe it's like my flo buckley, which has gold stitching on the black/black. But I like it because it adds some definition. Sorry about the oyster. I'm sure another bag will come along in that color! Glad you got some nice goodies for Christmas!

@Serendipity about your backorder... in process... conundrum, some of us were commenting on another thread about how the inventory and order fulfillment functions around here anymore seem to have take three giant steps backward. In the past year, I've had them cancel more orders due to lack of availability than in the entire rest of the time I've been dealing with this supposed retailer.

@stevieb and all: Oh no! The siren of the handbag is calling me. I need help or the voice of reason, quick!

What do you think of this bag? Halston Heritage site.

It's sale on sale. I think it could work as the day to evening bag I was looking for. (Scratch burberry -- too costly.)

Okay, what will be the Dooney February TSV!?

Inquiring handbag minds want to know.

@1Professor BINGO, you are the handbag friend who loves this style! But don't talk about it, because I don't want to get us both into big trouble! I'm guessing that when the online version of the Q Insider is up in a few days, some brave ladies will start talking about it...but it won't be me! All I can say is that I have been checking out this style and wanting one. And I plan to order more than one with a rainbow of color choices!

What bag? Which style? @EdithEllenLily@1Professor. I'll bite!Woman Wink
