Here's an interesting minute-and-a-half video from the NY Post Online. It shows handbags that were popular during different eras, along with what the likely contents of the bag would be during that time period. I found it to be very amusing:

I enjoyed watching the video, t was funny to see the contents changing over the years.  Thanks for posting, it was very intersting to watch.
