I just watched Aimee and Elise present handbags in the $200-$300 range, and unless I missed something, not one handbag was opened to show the interior. They just kept rubbing their hands over the exterior.
When HSN presents handbags, they always have at least a video of the interior. How can anyone purchase these expensive handbags and not know what the inside looks like.

I didn't see the show....but in her past shows/presentations she never gets around to showing the interior...I find I just don't watch her.....I am not purchasing a handbag I can't see the inside...

You are so right about that. She goes on & on about her hardware and how soft but nothing about the inside. These presentations are getting worse.

She's notorious for not showing the inside or even the outside pockets. She's very easily distracted IME. She does sometimes , but not every time.

I don't care for her presentation style either. Show me the bag and stop all the gushing. If the bag is that great, it'll sell itself and if it's not, all the hyperbole in the world isn't going to entice me to purchase in the absence of a thorough view of whatever is being offered.

I watched the show and she opened each bag to show the inside and did a good job with the pockets and convertibility (even taking a tablet or phone out of one or more). There was even a triple entry satchel that surprised me because if she hadn't opened it, one might not even realize that was the case. The videos are now posted in case there was a particular bag anyone wanted to see.
AK is one of my favorite designers and I appreciate that she does the presentations herself. I find that she takes time to show the bag well with the details that we wouldn't know otherwise. The insides of her bags are similar, one zip and two slip pockets. In her recent bags she has noted that she has enlarged the pockets to fit the larger phones -- and I have found that to be the case with my recent purchase. She also seems to have changed the V slip pockets to a traditional horizontal line -- I miss that detail but perhaps a change to accomodate the larger phones.
She also noted that one bag had sold out and was actually restocked -- the San Diego -- and that's a key detail that I appreciate knowing and am now looking at that crossbody. I also appreciate that she always makes a point to show the bags' convertibility when applicable and goes over to the models to show the the bags on -- which makes a huge difference.
I have quite a few of her bags now, and as long as she keeps presenting, I'll probably keep buying.

@Serendipity i agree that it's nice to see the actual "designer" present the item. I do like some of her designs but I admire them only I don't think I would buy. Her bags are pretty but I've read too many complaints about hardware and zipper issues. Maybe one day I will be tempted to buy

Not sure what you were watching, but she shows the inside of EVERY bag she presents. You can watch back the video. Also, the inside details are the same on all her bags, so there isn't much to show if you've seen one of her past presentations - logo lining, back zipper and two front pockets. Keep up the good work Aimee!!!!

I have one of her early bags and I like it all right, though I wouldn't say it's among my 'go-to' bags. I ordered another and when it arrived it went back because it was far larger than the presentation made it seem. Personally, I don't care if the designer presents the bags (or anything else) or not, as long as the details and all the pertinent information are included and I've noted several occasions where there's so much gushing and fondling going on when presenting her bags that some of the details get short shrift. I'm sure she's a lovely woman, but she seems to have caught the host-hard-sell-disorder and I've pretty much come to find her annoying. It's like she and her line of bags have become the Q's new version of BMak... Regardless, while there are a few of her bags that I find appealing, overall, I don't find most of them to be anything special. And really, enough with the snake prints.
I continue to prefer other brands than those offered here and other resources for finding and buying them... Resources that in most cases offer better variety and more favorable customer incentives.

I've sat through plenty of her presentations for the last year or so annoyed that she didn't show the inside of the bag, nor did she even really show the exterior pockets. She gets caught up gushing over the leather and the hardware. It's annoying. My other complaint is that she often doesn't discuss structure or lack of it in a bag. No not all the time, but enough that I've noticed it.
