I have clay soil and went to get some topsoil from Home depot. The guy there told me to break up the clay soil with gypsum, much better then using topsoil, he said. After a few days I went back to get some gypsum, asked another Homedepot emp. where the gypsum was , she advised me the opposite, she said gypsum in oldschool, just use topsoil , peat moss, and any other organic matter (compost) , no gypsum!! Help!! She insisted not to use gypsum.....
