& turning brown
I've had it for about 10 years. It's always been a beautiful blue.
I think we have to remove it.
We tried root watering and pine fertilizer stakes. I looked symptoms up on line. Looks like it's some fungus or something.

I'm sorry. I bet it was beautiful and I know that is always so sad to lose a
treasured tree or part of the garden you or someone lovingly planted.
They become like friends don't they?

@Mary Bailey .... I am not a gardener..... That said, there must be some local nurseries near you, and probably some very knowledgeable people working in the garden department of some of the big box stores. I'd make a few calls for advice. If that doesn't work, I'd look for some Facebook groups with knowledgeable members to chat with about the problem. Good luck!

That's a good idea to ask a garden center.
I used to have the best garden center near me and there were several times I'd take a cutting in to show them when I couldn't figure out what to do with my holly.
If you don't have one near you or they are closed, you could take a picture and email one that is open, maybe. Or sometimes you can get great answers by googling it-like what diseases affect a blue spruce and what to do? It could be a fungus (take out all affected limbs) or winter burn which needs water and will recover-lots of good answers.

Blue Spruce have a fungus now, had to remove two of my very tall trees this year, the needles started dropping and actually killed the grass, I'm reseeding as I write this. Hated it,

Take a photo of both healthy & ill areas and closeups. Bring to local cooperative extension -- call first as they might be closed at the moment.

Thanks for all the replies. I couldn't get a hold of anyone professional. So we cut it down. I didn't want to affect anything else.

I love the blue spruce color.
