I've noticed some neighbor's whose tulips and crocuses have bloomed. I don't have much planted because my ground here is like cement. I do, though, have some bleeding heart plants and I just noticed that they are starting to peek up out of the ground. They are so pretty. Seems like overnight everything is starting to get buds and some color.

I know what you mean.  I always am excited to see the daffodils come up. Sometimes right next to a snow pile!

My flowers are in bloom and the grass is green and growing enough to need mowing by next week. I've moved all the patio furniture out of the garages and am ready for the warm weather which is expected Monday.  Called the lawn service and asked them to begin next week. How I love this time of year!

@catter70  Here in SE Pennsylvania, the daffys are finally starting to bloom. Snowdrops are finishing their bloom; and crocus, tete-a-tetes and squill are blooming. Have not seen hide nor hair of the bleeding hearts even beginning. It's fun to walk out each day to see what is emerging!

My bleeding hearts are about 6" high! Hostas and peonies are peeking up, as well. Didn't expect them to be flourishing already. It's been cold here; but warm temps are expected next week so I imagine many more things will begin to emerge . . . and leap.   Oh happy days of spring!
