Wild violet and how to get rid of it!

I knew a girl named Violet, but there was nothing wild about her!
Still water runs deep, so true! It does look like (wild) violet leaves.

Yes, I am sure they are violets. If it is in a shadey area they will do well. I used to have them and I liked them. I would pick little bouquets.

Thanks for the replies. I'd never seen that before; at first, I thought it might be morning glories???, but it wasn't trying to climb....that link said wild violet is sold as ornamental ground cover.....it's kind of pretty.

I have wild violets growing beneath trees where it's shady. They make a pretty ground cover and I let them be.
