Is a Chia Pet a gardening gift? lol  if so, yes!

 

My birthday is in April, then comes Mother's day.  That's when I usually get gardening gifts.

No gardening gifts for Christmas except an e mail about a tree I am interested in is in stock. I will contact them tomorrow about the height of the trunk. It’s a grafted hydrangea paniculata ‘Vanilla Strawberry’.

I usually get a gift certificate to a local nursery but not this year.  I still have some Shasta daisies to cut back and then start on the hydrangeas.  I noticed I already have daffodils poking through in pots and I have paperwhites blooming in my family room.
