I'm going to plant and upright rose to go between a pastel pink, and red rose climber. There's quite a few feet in between, and I'd like a color that would stand out. I'm also going to put a couple of potted plants along the path too. So basically it's the pink on one end, and the red Don Juan on the other....send along your choice of colors🏵🌹🥀🌼🌻

I would go with lighter colors, maybe peachy and creamy.......I would really want the red to pop! Sounds pretty.

A blue or lavender color but also a different plant of height and texture may be a great addition.

I know this answer is not what you are looking for, but we had the most gorgeous rose ever. Cream color with a hint of pink on the ends of the petals - just gorgeous. Tea rose named "John F. Kennedy."

Hi @Dazlin
You could put in a Double Delight rose. It's got a lovely fragrance and is a real beauty. I think it would stand out as well as be a good transition between the two you already have.

@Dazlin I would put in a yellow rose and if you can fide a fragrant one, all the better! I love roses, enjoy your's!

Look at Earth Angel or Plum Perfect — fragrant & disease resistant.
Haha - googled Earth Angel and here is my rose from Houzz — 1st year in ground!

Not my rose below:

No matter what color flowers I plant, I always include white flowers. The white makes every other color pop.
i think all one color is boring. You need a contrast to set your flowers off, even if the colors are all in the same family.
I have been doing this for years and recently heard Phillip Watson say he does the same thing.
