Speaking of ferns, can one be dug up in the woods ,and transplanted in a shady spot. actually lots more than one.

When you lose some one you L~O~V~E, that Memory of them, becomes a TREASURE.

@Jtdmum , it’s not so bad that everything is yellow but I am feeling the allergy effects also.  We have a lovely breeze these last couple of days.  Enough to keep the black flies off while working.  LM

@mousiegirl , you have a good eye for detail.  The before photo is from last year.  The ferns have not fillled in yet this year.  It is very shady in this spot so they take longer than other areas to populate.

 

@JustJazzmom , the art is a metal peacock with stain glass detail.  His tail is beautiful with coloured glass.  I had a couple of art pieces that seem to get lost in the greenery so I did the lattice as a backdrop for them.  Here is the other one I am working on.

@goldensrbest , I just moved a couple of clumps in front of the screen in my photo reply to mousiegirl and justjazzmom.  Very similar environments but wet may be an issue. Will let you know how they do.  LM

It is so nice to be out in the garden again.  I put in a couple of productive days.  LM
