@Lilysmom It's not like I'm a gardner; but it makes sense to me to weed in the rain (no lightning, just rain) because it would make the ground softer and easier to get the roots of the weeds out.

In fact, when I buy flowers I always tell the attendant, "Sushhhh!  Do you hear that sound?"

The attendant always (seriously says), "I don't hear anything?"

Then I say, "That's the sound of the flowers saying, "Save me!  Save me!  I don't want to die.....don't let her buy me!"

I've really said that before!  They all think I'm crazy, but they do laugh!

It is 77 with a nice breeze here in the PNW.  I should be out in the yard but I am curled up with an interesting book!  I will water the pots before it gets dark.

@Desertdi , wow, be careful what you wish for!  Right now thunder and lightning this morning.  My Lab just turned 12 and, in her older age, has become frightened of the thunder so I hate to hear it.

We are measuring up for the Ark.  LM
