Yes she maybe wanted some time alone😄.  They do travel in groups.  Just watch getting too close, we would see them where I grew up and they can get pretty aggressive especially during mateing season.  ❤️

Lol, I hadn't thought about it being mating season.  I'll bet you're exactly right...she needed to be alone!😂😂😂

Who on earth did they tell, the game warden?  That's crazy.  I sure hope it didn't cause you any trouble.

For folks who do hunt them, there's a season here just for turkeys, but we don't.

He only takes the old corn from the garden that's not fit for humans to eat up there.❤️

Yes the game warden, he came to my door.  He was nice I said I use to feed them but had stopped and my bird feeder attracted them, which it does.  He was okay with that and left no issue.

@spumoni99

Well I'm really glad to know it didn't cause you any real trouble.  😃❤️

What a mean spirited person your neighbor must be, especially considering she/he knows they're attracted to your birdfeeder.

I don't know which neighbor did it, most of my neighbors are very nice.  They may not have known about the bird feeder.

There are lots of wild turkeys where I live...a flock of 32 babies & 3 hens cross my yard several times a day & sometimes they'll roost on my deck railing...it's funny watching them fly up into trees for the night. Groups of toms like to display on the road, not sure why but I learned never get out of the car to shoo them away, they'll go after you & you better run fast.

Oh my goodness!  You sure do have a lot of wild turkeys!  That would be so cool if they roost up on our back deck!  Ours spook so easily though.😃❤️

I never would've thought the Tom's could be as territorial until I seen them go after Ruby once when she was younger.  Thank heavens she didn't get flogged, but now she knows better than to try and chase them too.❤️

I might not have thought about one coming after me getting out of the car though.  I'm really glad you shared this information with me just in case.  You would've saved me a whole lot of trouble lol.

I'm NOT a Fast Runner!😂😃❤️

@spumoni99 Good grief, there's a Turkey Police!?

This is why I never leave the city!

We don't hunt them either, though I'm sure that some folks do, our immediate neighbors do not. The 4 neighbors and us have about 100 acres when combined so we are the evil "no hunting" zone. LOL!!

Thanks for posting this magnificent picture!  I love ❤️ him!

Lol, we're the exact same way here!  You wouldn't believe the people who vaguely know us that will drive up and ask permission to hunt!  So crazy!  I can't believe people!
