Here are some great ideas for your backyard - simple, inexpensive.
I have some old windows - put mirrors in them and hang them from a fence:
Paint old tin cans and drill holes and put a string of battery lights in them and hang them around backyard:
They also had one where you drill holes in your wooden fence and stick see-thru marbles in the holes - reflect color when the light shines through.

I used to be creative and use things for other purposes. Haven't done it in ages. My crafty side left the building. If you don't have empty paint cans, the paint stores sell them for $1 each.

How about this? Somebody posted it on Facebook and thought it was "cute". I thought it was the most hideous thing one could display in one's yard.

Love the tire planter hanging from the tree but that purple tire wishing well planter is down right hideous.
