PINCH THE TOPS. THIS CAUSES AUXINS, CHEMICAL MESSENGERS WITHIN THE PLANTS TO CAUSE THE GROWTH OF LEAVES AND STEMS BELOW THE PINCH TO SPREAD OUT LATERALLY.
