Turning Hydrangea plants blue

This year I have added several hydrangea to my gardens. I bought a couple of Nikko Blue hydrangea. Can anyone tell me about adding aluminum sulfate to make vibrant blue flowers? How often should this be done?

Any other tips on Hydrangea care? I purchased some Endless Summer hydrangea as well but don't intend to use the aluminum sulfate on these shrubs.

All advice appreciated.
