One of my co-workers had started plants from seeds and we're going to meet in a local parking lot to "pick up" from each other while maintaining a safe distance from one another.

Of course it has been so stupidly cold here in the the Philadelphia area that I'm going to have to keep the plants inside on the porch so they don't get damaged by the frost potential this weekend.

Looking forward to having my own tomato plants!

Re: Tomato and squash plants

I hope the plants grow for you @GinaV24 😊

I ❤️tomatoes!  A couple of years ago, I bought a plant at a local garden center and kept it in a large container on the back deck, but only got 2 or 3 tomatoes.  So much work for the results.  🤣

I think growing them from seeds is a great idea.  That way you know what you're getting and can care for them from the start.  I may try again this year.  Thanks for the idea and keep us posted to let us know how it's going.
