Lots going on in the garden this Fall. Bushes are loaded with berries so the pheasants and small birds will be busy.
The last couple of photos show the concrete curbing installed in the front beds. No more edging there!
The hydrangeas are putting on a great show of colour and the Fall cleanup has begun.
The weather is beautiful and we are still swimming every day. LM

@Lilysmom1 Beautiful. Your hard work pays off.
Hydrangeas are my favorite flowers.

@Lilysmom1 I always look forward to your serene garden pictures. Love the color of the Hydrangeas and the Holly Berries! The Strawberry Vanilla is spectacular. Thanks for the share. I'm wishing you many pleasant days in your fall garden

Wow! Not only lovely, but you sure do have a short growing season up there (Nova Scotia?).
My heat came on this AM; it is definitely cooling down here in the US Mid-Atlantic. It's so very interesting to me, how plant growth responds to climate. You and I can grow the same, many times, yet they exhibit entirely different patterns. It all boils down to adaptability, I guess. And the patterns of wildlife that depend on them.
For instance, my hydrangeas have long been out of bloom, but the Aronia (chokeberry) are loaded yet not ripe.
My dogwood (Cornus florida - regular old native) has much fruit but they are nowhere near ripe yet.
Have fun with the curbing! A nice edge makes all the difference in the garden. That looks really pretty.

As usual, your gardens are so amazing and beautiful. Your talent, hard work, and dedication are so remarkable. I wonder how many hours a day it takes to maintain. However many hours, it is so worth it.

that is beautiful
I guess there are no deer, they would eat that stuff to the ground in a day

Your curbing looks great!
We got our first measurable rain since June last week. Yard was looking really sad (actually it still is).

This must have been the year of the hydrangea! They are spectacular.

Your curbing looks out great. You and DH will enjoy how it keeps the grass from wanderting into the beds. This year I only needed to use the weed trimmer twice to keep the grass down.
And of course your gardens look beautiful. I am starting to put mine to bed.
