The Orioles have arrived !!!!!!

My heart is full of the beautiful sweet melody I heard on my deck this morning and looked out and saw my first Oriole of the season at the feeder.  I live in Western NY and I put my Oriole feeder up last week and I'm glad I did.

They can be pretty fickle. I have heard them and put out oranges and sometimes they come and sometimes not. They do have a distinct song which is enjoyed.  The Hummers will  follow next about MidMay where I live. I wait until I see them come to my feeder area first. The area first.

@hayseed00   I love baltimore orioles. Growing up in NJ in the 50s-60s we had orioles nesting in a maple tree in the backyard actually fairly close to the house. So much fun to watch.
