About ten plus years ago bought 3 lily star gazer lily bulbs, living in Mississippi. Planted them, harvested and then made a move to Ohio. Bulbs sat in peat moss over a freezing winter. Planted in spring and let me tell you, have been in Ohio for ten years and I must have 100 lily plants, all set to give amazing fragrant flowers. Have purchased a lot from qvc but this is my most loving purchase.

@vll.  We'd love to see a picture when they all bloom.   They must be quite a sight.

Lucky you! Stargazer lilies have the most wonderful fragrance! I can only imagine how it'll be at your house when they're blooming!

They are gorgeous lilies. I had about ten but then the squirrels found them and they all disappeared. They're a very popular squirrel food.

I bought some from Roberta's years ago. The first couple of years they gave me much pleasure, the scent is divine! Now, they grow, only to about 6" tall and have never bloomed again. I've tried everything to feed them and coax them to grow but have been unsuccessful.

I ordered bulbs this spring from K vanBourgondien online; they grew wonderfully and have been blooming for about a month now. Hope they come back next year.

Congratulations on yours thriving so well!

My fave flower!! tried to grow some on my tiny balcony at my apt and it was a horrible failure!! Just not enough sun I think! One of my faves is called "big brother" . They are a soft yellow and can grow over 5 feet tall and their flowers are as big as my head!!
