Oh my lord; it's mid-February and the temperature outdoors is about 55-60 degrees and the sun is out, the grass is growing (so are the weeds {#emotions_dlg.devil2}) and we haven't had nighttime frosts for weeks and weeks. I can't get over it: half the country is reeling under unheard-of temperatures and snowstorms, and here we are getting the lawn mowers out!

On the other hand we could get winter after all and it would take only 1 or 2 icy blasts to kill all the new growth. In this year's unpredictable weather, anything could happen.

Sending good and warm thoughts to our friends back east who are suffering.

Our temps here in NM have been so warm that the elms and juniper are shedding pollen and I've had to start on my Allegra. Everyone is sneezing and sniffling. Very early for this.

WOO-HOO! Good for everyone who is experiencing some warmth (sorry about the pollen, though, Kachina624--that can be very miserable). We are thrilled that it is 25 degrees outside today and partly sunny (we live near Notre Dame). Thanks for sharing--we know that Spring is somewhere! Smile

Jealous of those having such unseasonably nice weather. Please enjoy it for the rest of us!
