I bought a really pretty bird spinner at the Hallmark store and it won't spin.  It just blows back and forth.  What am I doing wrong?????

some spinners take alot of windy weather to move much!

 

I got a spinner last summer at big lots, it was pretty but it feel totally apart after a week lol. i decided to not buy anything like that again at that store Smiley Sad

If it's like a windmill........with  mechanism in the center - you might squirt a little W-40 around the part and spin it by hand as you apply the lubricate.  No WD-40 - use oil

Or check to see if you can loosen some moving part(s) - could be too tight for wind to spin

Just suggestions.................

@FlowerBearI bought a good spinner at the Christmas Tree Shop and another at Pier One.
