Spider Plant Help

I have 2 spiders. (I'm only a fan of spiders because they clean the air.)

My problem is with one of them...both are hanging in my kitchen, one at one window, the other at the other window (at the same wall). One I water from the bottom, (there's a good reason for this) but that's the one I have trouble with. Always getting brown leaves.

The other is always nice & lush.

Don't know if it's my window area, or the watering...? Can anyone help? How do I prevent my spider from getting brown leaves. And what do I do with them? Just pull them out?
