deer love hostas.  Before we got our deer fencing up around my hostas the deer chomped down most of growth. They are slow to recover.  The other day we saw on cameras that a deer was chomping on my pot of flowers - even stepping over shrubbery to get to pot on porch. 😡

Deer have eaten my hostas too.  Currently, they look awful but it's the lack of rain that is doing that.  Everything is dry as a bone now.  I am having to water.
