In my current issue of Better Homes and Gardens, you can actually save geraniums for the following season. You must get all the root system and do this before the first frost. The article states to place in a paper bag or rolled up newspaper. Also make sure to water twice during the winter season and the storage area must be cool ( not cold ) and dark.
Has anyone tried this and had success? I'm very curious and may give it a try.
