1581FB9C-75B2-44E7-B711-97C2BE941502.jpegI use these containers.  They are dog food containers so they will hold the latter bags of seed.  I also live and Florida and these have proved to be pretty airtight and bug proof!

I don't buy bird seeds in bulk, just 5 lb bags, but I bought a gallon pitcher that I dump smaller bags in.  The lid can be turned to be closed and has 2 different openings to regulate the flow of its contents.   The pitcher works great!
