Roberta's Fragrant Penny Series Viola Collection

[ Edited ]

Today I received my order of Roberta's viola collection.  Despite the fact that I think they should have shipped at least 10 days from now, the six plants are in great condition.  In fact, all six are in full foliage and are already blooming.  I've put them outside on the patio table until I plant them in pots this coming weekend.  In any event, I'm surprised and really pleased with the quality of these plants.

Violas are my favorites but we plant them in the Fall. They are still looking good but will croak when it starts getting really hot. Enjoy yours!

If violas are lept in birhgt shade without direct sun, they won't die in the heat, water needed also.  Mine come back year after year.

Violas overtake part of our yard every spring.  (they are popping up everywhere)  We pull them out, mow them down, hope the summer heat will do them in, but every spring they're back.
