Richard Mabey - British naturalist and author

I just read a review of Richard Mabey's new book, The Cabaret of Plants: Forty Thousand Years of Plant Life and the Human Imagination.  It sounds absolutely fascinating.

 

I had not heard of him before today, but wish I had.  

 

For those of you who are already familiar with him and have read his work before, I envy you.  I'm getting started soon.

Sounds like a good read.  $21.33 hardcover and $14.99 Kindle.

I typically wait for the paperback/trade version to be issued.  I ordered one of his earlier books in paperback.
