@Tweety68 , take two of the metal planters, invert them and wire them together.  Spray paint and you will have an attractive globe shaped piece of garden decor to hang or mount on a pedestal.  LM

@Tweety68  My late husband was great at finding free things when he just happened upon them.  His trade was master carpenter, but he could repurpose anything or fix it like new.  

 

I know this doesn't have anything to do with repurposing something for landscaping, but it brings back a funny moment when we were driving in his pickup truck going to the store to get a recliner chair.  On our way there, he spotted some fishing poles put out for garbage.  I didn't notice them when he did and, suddenly, he hit the brakes so hard to stop to grab them, I thought I had whiplash!   My son still uses some of those 'garbage' fishing poles  today.  

 

Love your thoughts on all the repurposing.  The planters look wonderful!
