My successive, multiple year purchases of   QVC's .. Barbara King  *AND*  Roberta's  "Reblooming Lilacs" are already giving me their first of several seasonal blooms . . . .     *INTOXICATING scent!!*  . . ahhhhhhh

Did your lilacs bloom the first year you planted them?

@gtx.. yes!  Much more so & robust with the larger ones (Single item, Q reblooming lilac purchase plant)

. . And btw, they're still in their pots  (which is probably a no-no)! 

Not in the ground yet.  I keep changing my mind where I want to put them!

Bought one from Proven Winners a few years ago.   Med to dark purple and they do smell so fresh.  They did re-bloom around Aug-Sept but not like in the spring.

Wish I bought more.............
