Last year I planted about a dozen lillies, and when they bloomed, I thought I'd died and gone to heaven. They're so beautiful, of course, but the scent is what just about sent me into orbit. To say they smell heavenly doesn't even begin to do them justice--I'm sure you know what I mean.

THEN I found out that they are very toxic to cats, which I have; so even though they're indoor cats, I pulled up the lillies just to be extra safe (while they were still blooming--I don't know if that's signifigant or not). It just about killed me to do it but my cats come first.

I THOUGHT I got rid of them, but I see what I could swear looks like new ones coming up from where I pulled up the ones from last year. Is this possible? they were still actively growing out of BIG healthy bulbs and I'm wondering if I missed some small bulblets and that's what generating the new growth? I hope I don't have to pull up lillies again.
