Possible project for next week

[ Edited ]

after the rains stop and it gets a little warmer.

Some plants will be transferred into larger containers.

I was also hoping the mourning doves would nest in the pink fringe plant, but so far it hasn't been to their liking.  (Not the little terra cotta fake birdhouse. That's just for fun.

Re: Possible project for next week

I noticed I started getting plants I ordered from QVC.

Right now they're in my garage.  I don't know if the person who is my right (and left) hand that does things for me, feels like it's OK to come and plant things and do some of this.

I'll have to contact her to see if she wants to do it.

You seem like you are ready to usher in Spring.

Good for you.  Maybe you can come light a fire under me............

I have grass seed and I am going to start putting it out next week.  Usually here in PA I do not do flowers until later in April to avoid any last-minute freezes.

It's called Chinese Fringe Flower, Loropetalum chinense, @Kachina624 .

It may even grown where you are, although may take more water than you might want to provide.

@GingerPeach , beautiful ornamental tree!!!

We had a beautiful day yesterday and expect the same today.  I was inside painting birdhouses yesterday.  I am getting all my late fall garden purchases painted up and ready for placement.  It is just below freezing this morning.  Won't be long before we are in garden cleanup which I am looking forward to.

During the self isolation, I have done a lot of indoor projects.  I have two dreaded ones left...the pantry and my closet.  I think I am trying to do everything else but!  LM
