Phillip Watson is Back -- Well, Sort Of...

Not on QVC, but Phillip Watson just announced (noon today) that he has a new website for selling his own garden items!

He is starting with a variety of tomato plants.

If interested: gardeningwithphillipwatson.com

[I have not included it as a link, but you can enter & paste.]

If you also check out his FB page, he has a couple of videos up as well.

I wonder if QVC demands a cut of his sales.

Well I read somewhere on these forums that QVC gets a cut of sales from other companies when they sell elsewhere -- like Philosophy that is sold at retail stores (or maybe it was Laura Geller cosmetics - I don't remember who exactly).  I guess the thinking is that QVC gave all that advertising to that company, so they should share in the sales if the items are sold elsewhere.  How many of you would know who Philip Watson was were it not for QVC?

@PUPPY LIPS . Philip works for himself, not Cottage Farms.

@PUPPY LIPS   Phillip Watson is working for himself, not a company that has a contract with QVC.  It doesn't matter that he is more well-known now or not.

I was excited to see a link to Phillip's site, but shipping is a flat rate of $15 per six-pack! Ouch!

@Caaareful Shopper   Thanks for the info, I'm going to check in on his site occasionally to see if there are any new items.
