Nice.  What's it made from?  Did someone make it for you? (the sailboat/lighthouse one)

That was made from a huge tree on our property, black walnut. The tree was damaged in a tornado here last spring. They were planted by my husbands granfather in the 1800S. we wanted to have it made into something,so its life would live on...AFriend of ours does mill work and carving .He also built our cabana from trees here. I will post some pictures. Thanks for the interest!

Your pictures are lovely.  But lovely requires maintenance.  Years ago we added an arbor and a few sections of wooden picket fence at the base of our driveway.  We selected a vinyl arbor because we knew it would be covered by vines anyway.

But we wanted wooden picket fence sections, as many vinyl fences have a shine we do not like.  DH has spray painted those sections of fence, as well as a white bench in our front yard.  Next he will be spray paining the rail fence at either side of our driveway.

Your garden den decor is so unusual - that bench is really something.  Because of where we live, we haven’t started any annual plantings yet.  The weather has been kind of erratic.
