@newziesuzie, I just love the poppie mural.  They never last long enough IRL as the wind or the rain usually knock them down.

 

@Kachina624, there must be a way to protect the mural from weather at least for some time.  

 

If I had a fence, I would definitely do something like this.  In fact I know a painter who does murals.  So pretty!  LM

Another good cure for plain walls or fences is a Trompe L'Oeil Trellis (fool the eye).

I love them, but I don't have anything to paint or decorate.  Don't think DH would like it if I painted a mural on the garage doors.
