Thank you for letting me know about the site with the easy recipe.❤️

It never even occurred to me to make pear jam.  I'm not especially crazy about pear butter, but I'm sure I'd like a jam.  The jar on QVC yesterday had pear, lime and ginger in it.  I'll bet the lime serves the same purpose as the lemon from the recipe you found.  

Leah was presenting the jams and said it just gave it a crisp taste, not overpowering.  The product representative said these jams are made the old fashioned way in Poland, cooked on a stovetop in small batches.  She even commented that too much sugar added to jams is what often causes them to be runny.  I'd never thought about that before, but it makes sense.😃❤️
