Spent a long time in the garden today.  DH is away.  Lily and I swam twice.  The Lab is happy.  So nice to be back in the lake.

We were asked to host Grade 9 prom students for photos so they stopped by today.  Prom night is Thursday night.

The ferns are leafing out in various stages all over the place.

If you looks closely (pinch out) you will see that the Allium to the right has one stalk taller than the Alberta Spruce.

@Lilysmom  That was very generous of you to host the prom-goers for pictures!  I just love seeing your garden pictures. Also, the birdbath you have in the 12th pic (?). Do you find it too deep for some birds? I have the same one, and the birds seem to prefer the more shallow one on the other side of our patio.

@PA Mom-mom.  I have a deep birdbath and I put several larger rounded river rocks in it for the birds to stand on.

@Lilysmom. Garden is looking great.  Love the graceful ferns.

@PA Mom-mom @Kachina624 , the larger birds (crows, blue jays) use this one.  I have more shallow bird baths for the smaller birds.  LM

Show us the Exbury azalea when it is in in full bloom, too, please!  I love that one the best.
