It is The Fawn, and bought at Heirloom Roses so you can get a detailed description there.  The first flush of blooms in early Spring is truly amazing, just covered in blooms and lasting for quite a while.

Thank you! I was curious because I'd never seen one like it. I don't know much about gardening to be honest. I do have some hydrangeas but they aren't looking as good as they did several months ago. One of them is quite large and I've had it for years.

I am still wrestling with deciding which rose this is, Jazzmom, and if I can figure it out, I am going to buy another, it is that spectacular, and I love red. I have had it forever, but it isn't in the best place, so plan to move it and hope it survives.  It could be William Shakespeare.

There are 2 William Shakespeare roses-- the original and William Shakespeare 2000.

 

The one with the year next to it is more black spot resistant than the original. I think the original is not sold on the David Austin site now (US site).
