I enjoyed reading your cute story. I could totally see my hubby doing the same thing. I've created many animal situations over the years he has been so kind to help with.

I love all creatures great and small (well - humans I could take or leave) to hear of such kindness to a skunk - it made me smile and feel good to know there's REALLY good people out there.

@hayseed00   One of my previous dogs was sprayed at 10 pm one evening.  I didn't have tomato juice so used a few boxes of chopped tomatoes on him, it worked, but I had a heck of a time removing the tomato bits, lol.

@countryladyI was watching my husband from our deck, and I was so worried that he was going to be sprayed by the little stinker I started softly singing Amazing Grace to the skunk, and why I don't have a clue, but it makes me laugh every time I think about the whole skunk episode !!!!!
