@JustJazzmom  Yes, I saw this color, but also saw it in a different pink and a peachy pink, both colors are good for me.  This year, I ordered lots of white or near white, different heights, shapes, bloom times, and I will have one area all white along with white roses, white Phlox, and other white plants, and use some in the fuschia colored area and some in the red area to break up those rich colors.  I am in the middle of potting them now, and will plant them next year after they increase, I hope, by spring.

I also ordered differnt colors, some spiders, doubles, etc.  I am tossing some of the ones I don't like, and I think at least some of those were gifts because they don't look like anything I would order.  I feel badly, but no room for the uglies. Smiley Happy

I think a moonlit garden is so nice (plants all with white flowers). There is also white alyssum for the border too! Heart

Spider daylilies look too strange to me. But I do like doubled ones like the famous Siloam Double Classic.

Re: My Daylilies

[ Edited ]

@lucymo  I received my order from Oakes, and I am very impressed.  I couldn't believe the number of fans, one separated into five fans without my doing anything, so I definitely will be going back whenever I feel the need for more daylilies as one gets a lot for the money spent, and a bonus, maybe you also received this "Little Grapette."  I read the reviews on it on the site, and they were funny as everyone complained and said they almost tossed it, but waited until the next year and the Daylily exploded in bloom, so I have high hopes for it.

@mousiegirl  I have Little Grapette and mine blooms  just fine.  I have two actually that came with the name on it but one is a small grape color double bloom.  Very pretty. I've never researched it.

As for Oakes, they are the cream of the crop in suppliers, IMO.  We ordered a lot of ours from them and they are huge  clumps.  Guaranteed  is good, I have used it.  One day lily wasn't what label showed and I kept it and they sent the right one.
