I'm surprised at how well the Calibrachoa have responded to the very cool nights we have been having here in southeastern PA. They look better than they have in a while.
My son gave me this basket for Mother's Day. I think the yellow petunias are "Bees Knees."

My Rudbeckia grew up beneath this hanging basket and provide a nice contrast.
And, we had a beautiful visitor today. We've had the black and yellow swallowtails this summer, but none of the caterpillar's survived.
The hummers have loved these flowers as well.

Those are all so pretty! Brilliant colors.
I just saw a beautiful butterfly too! I've only seen a few this summer.

Yes, they love dry-cool, but not wet and humid and not hot and humid nor cold. This is the perfect weather for them. Even in the southeast, mine are doing much better with our 60-degree nights instead of 85-degree nights.

@Nonametoday We've been consistently in the mid-40's to mid-50's at night this past two weeks. My tomatoes don't know what to make of it, but the Callies are loving it. I didn't know they liked it so cold. Thanks for your comment!

@PA Mom-mom Well, the tomatoes have had their fun in the sun all summer long. Maybe, if they are not too ripe, you can make fried green tomatoes. Delicious.

@PA Mom-mom, Everything is just gorgeous!! I've seen several butterflies on my butterfly bush lately; I love watching them, too. On a sad note, I haven't seen my hummingbirds in over a week. They had been super active before that. Oh well, I guess they've moved on already.

@CarolinaGirl88 It's hard to tell with those hummers. If you have nectar you have already made, or if you have some from a bottle you have already opened, I would finish it out and see whet happens. Then say good-bye until next year.

@PA Mom-mom, That's what I figured, too. I still have some and I'll finish it out and see if they come back. Thanks!
