Our old Mum that we started about 8-9 years ago from a small potted plant keeps forming new colonies and is just spectacular in size and bloom. We sure got our money's worth with this one.

@lucymo It's beautiful!  Thank you for posting a picture!  I'll bet it makes your yard even more beautiful.  How can anyone not love the Fall when you see such beautiful things?

I thought you'd show a pretty pot, with a pretty mum. What you have is spectacular. I'll bet you look forward to that every year!

@Annabellethecat66  Thank you and yes, it does beautify our yard year after year.  People stop and ask how we get it to grow that big.  I do love the colors of fall and here in southern Mo, it's usually our best season for comfortable weather.

@spot555  Thank you.  I do love the potted Mums too but this one is always there come fall.  It's like a beacon when we drive down the street toward home.  I do love the Mums.

@lucymo  That's beautiful. I gasped when I saw your picture because I have one that same exact color that appears to be on steroids, too. It's about as old as yours and huge as well. I had to dig part of it out unfortunately because of where I planted it. Congrats on a spectacular display !!

@lucymo

Absolutely gorgeous! You certainly have a green thumb - I've never seen anything like it! Do you cut it back each year?
