@Lilysmom1 Absolutely beautiful! Do you mind sharing the state where you live? Here in West Texas we have nothing like your pictures.

Calm, relaxing and beautiful!!! I love the landscape, the colorful flowers, the statues , the privacy and peace. Of course the lake is most appealing and looks so refreshing especially on a hot day! Thanks for the great pictures of your area, it looks like you put a lot of love into it all!!!!!

@On It , I live in Nova Scotia, east Coast of Canada. We are zones 5-6. Our climate is a lot like Maine and we are coastal like Maine. I am not surprised your gardens are different than mine. Definitely four seasons here. Like everywhere else, we are getting warmer temps with climate change and our cold seasons are a bit shorter. LM

@spiderw , yes we are blessed to live in a beautiful spot and gardening is what I love to do. We have almost two acres with gardens everywhere so it keeps me busy. It is my gym in the warmer months!
We are looking forward to hydrangeas and rhodos coming into flower soon! LM

@On It You lucky girl! We were there once for a conference in October and it was beautiful. We got to do some sightseeing and had a lobster dinner at a lodge somewhere out near Peggy's Cove! All the lobster you can hold--fresh and cooked in seawater! And the weather was great.

@Sooner Unfortunately I am not the lucky one. @Lilysmom1 was answering my question about where she lived. I am down here in hot, dusty, not-so-scenic West Texas. Sounds like I need to plan a trip to see what I am missing.

@On It LOL!!! You're about in the same shape we are in here in central Oklahoma! We put out some herbs in a planter yesterday an have had to water them twice and get them a cardboard shade. May have to buy 'em a patio unbrella!
Stay cool! And yes, Halifax is a great place to visit!

@Lilysmom1 All of your plants are lovely and I can see why you posted them. You have a lovely landscape and should be proud as it is colorful and joyful to behold. It is clear to see that you have a green thumb and should be proud of your labor!
