I am in Southern California, zone 9, and need to replace a rose.  I usually purchase from Jackson & Perkins but don't see what I want on their website.  I am hoping to find a smaller floribunda rose with pink blossoms.  Does anyone have experience with other rose growers who ship?

@Wobin   Try Wayside Gardens.  They have a number of floribunda roses for zone 9.

Re: Mail order roses

I have a Neptune on waitlist from Heirloom Rose's,  I heard they are very good.   I had a rose from David Austin that died after 2nd year.

I receive the David Austin catalog and the roses look so beautiful.  Being English roses I've always been concerned they wouldn't survive a summer here with temps well over 100 for many days.

I'd like to recommend Sexy Rexy.  I'm in So. Cal. too zone 10 and have been happy with this bush.  (My only problem is that I'm slammed with thrips late every summer. Poor things look great until the worst heat hits, then the attack starts.  I don't want to spray.)

Here is a website discussing some of the control methods for thrips.
