For the last several weeks, the Dogwood trees in and around Huntsville (Alabama) have been in full bloom; some white and some pink. Two weeks ago we visited the Huntsville Botanical Garden just to see their majestic 100-year old Dogwood tree. Yep. That teeny, tiny person standing in front of the tree is Nancy. The tree is 25 feet high and 45 feet wide.

@VegasBusinessWoman    I didn't either.  The ones I remember seeing in the South were kind of spindley.

@Kachina624 , be still my heart!  Wow, this is magnificent.  I planted two of these in the last couple of years.

Can't wait to get out in the garden!  LM

Who's Nancy, @Kachina624 ?

I found this pic and the words at a site called John and Nancy's website dated April 26, 2008.  Is this your family?

@GingerPeach    Heaven's no.  They are just people who posted the picture.  I had to do some backtracking to learn where the tree is.
