MYSTERY ROSE - ANYONE HAVE AN IDEA?

[ Edited ]

These are pictures of three of the same rose plants that were sent to me in error, so have no clue as to the name of the rose,, though I think it is a floribunda.

@mousiegirl, you may be right.  I have a Julia Child floribunda rose (it's yellow), and the blooms look very much like yours as they open.

@mousiegirl

From what I'm seeing, it looks a lot like a David Austin rose, the Benjamin Britten.   Read the part about how it changes color as it ages to see whether it fits for your rose:

@GingerPeach  Thank you, I looked at the link, but this is not what I have.  The shape, color, and fragrance, mine has very faint, are different. Smiley Happy

@mousiegirl, you might want to look at jacksonandperkins.com, and see if something similar is shown in the floribunda section of their online catalog.  It might be a good place to check.  You said the roses were sent to you in error...do you know what vendor they came from?  Of so, you might want to check their online offerings, too.

@Brooklynny  Thank you, have done all of that. Smiley Happy  I thought someone else may have this rose, though I know it is difficult to name a rose with so many out there and looking similar.

@mousiegirl, no problem.  I hope you find the plant's name. I always like to know the names of the plants I'm growing in my yard, too!

Well, I don't recognize it by name but it is absolutely gorgeous! How large is the bloom and when was the rose bush first planted?

@deedledeedeedle

The blooms are four-five inches when mature.

I ordered two sets of pink roses as I had planned to plant them along a fence as a hedge. When they arrived, I put all six in one gallon nursery cans/pots.  As soon as they bloomed, I knew I had been sent the incorrect roses.  One set bloomed orangey, and was ugly, hardly ever saw a rose I thought was ugly, so tossed them.  The other set of three is this mystery rose.  The color is far from pink, but the blooms, though much smaller last year and somewhat quartered, impressed me, so moved the three to three gallon pots, and there they remain today.

I felt I couldn't even begin to think about planting them as I didn't know what the growth habit would be, but now that I see they are blooming singularly and some branches with multiple buds, four-five, I think it is a floribunda, but floribundas grow to different heights, so am waiting longer to see what they do.  I don't know where I can plant this color of rose, but I will figure it out.
