Hedge Bindweed also known as Morning Glories always pop up around here.  As a child, I can remember walking barefoot through my grandparents garden in the early morning just to smell them!  Their sweet nectar attracts many pollinators.😃❤️

Now, even though I still find them beautiful, I know they'll have to be cut and removed or they'll strangle out my plants.  These decided to pop up among my raspberries and four o'clock flowers.  They grow on a long, thick vine similar to a grapevine.  It's visible in some of the pics.❤️

@cheriere  Your pictures are great, and they are beautiful, but.....  When I was a kid, my dad paid us 10 cents a pound for morning glory roots pulled out of the garden. The flowers didn't count, just the roots.

Re: 🌸 MORNING GLORIES 🌸

They are so beautiful! I have a lot of them growing under my dead weeping cherry, but there are not nearly as many flower blooms as in your photos. I'm letting them grow out of curiosity just to see what will happen with them. I love morning glories.

lol, I know exactly what you mean.  You're dad got himself a real bargain. 😃❤️

These are coming out too.  Since the raspberries will be gone within a week, we'll cut them back and try to remove all of these...hopefully.🤞

I love Morning Glories. Yours are pretty @cheriere.

We're in CT and only just planted them last month, the Heavenly Blue ones, in pots, from seeds. Leaves popped up right away, and it's still growing nicely...no flowers yet, but they'll start this month.

Tks for sharing.

They are so pretty @cheriere.

I read that the seeds are poisonous and have a similar effect as LSD!

Beautiful pictures @cherier!   We had those at our old house and I loved the smell but boy they take over everything!💕

Oh my goodness! 😳

I didn't know that, but sounds potentially dangerous.  I sure hope the flowers themselves pose no risk...just in case Ruby got hold of one.

Thanks for letting me know.😃❤️

The deep blue ones are the kind that use to show up in my grandmother's garden.  They're the best!  I'd never had the white ones pop up over here before either.😃❤️
